The castings, made by a chief italian iron foundry, are batch worked to decrease cost. For each machine type we always have the semimachined pieces with complete machinings (milling and boring); in this way the structures season at our workshop increasing their stability.
Torgim is skilled in the production of center lathes with covered on all length sliding ways. This feature guarantees maximum precision in the course of the years since dirt and swarfs can’t accidentaly spoil the sliding ways of the bed.
The natural gap is another typical peculiarity of all our machines. It allowes to work pieces with big diameters; it is usually feasible with machines much more bulky and little handy .
